Who stole my 2021? It went by so quickly.
Thank goodness I journal daily, often writing just a few lines about what I am thinking or doing on a particular day. I went through it from January 1 to today to figure out what happened to my year.
There was a lot of stuff that got in the way of doing what I had planned to do. Covid was still hanging around. I had several surgeries and got stuck in the hospital numerous times. I had difficulty walking. Chronic pain followed me for most of the year. Close family members had major health issues. My businesses faced unique challenges when many loyal clients had to shut their doors. I was wearing a mask and talking to masked people. I didn’t like that much.
Surprisingly, my journal skipped most of that stuff. My writing showed a year filled with love and joy. I became even closer to super friends and family members. I got a new puppy, and we fell in love immediately. I made a long road trip with Sherry and our relationship deepened. New friends came into my life. I received hundreds of responses to my blog that taught me new and better ways to think and act. Two brilliant men bought my companies. They will bring them to new heights while maintaining their core mission. This allows me to enter a new freedom and explore ways of sharing my good fortune.
My journal teaches me to focus on all the good that surrounds me each day. My roadblocks only make me stronger.
Happy New Year. We are all going to have a splendid 2022.
