My friend Bill Miller told me one wise thing to do as I age is to develop friendships with younger people. Since some of my older friends are sadly leaving me, I took it as good advice.
So I went out and met two bright, young guys named Ryan and Nico, both in their early 30s. Things went great. I took an interest in their splendid, early academic and professional achievements. They in turn seemed exceptionally curious about me and the companies Sherry and I have nurtured.
Now I have two new, young friends. What fun.
Ryan and Nico bought our companies.
I still call them good friends.
And boss.
