Chapter four of Changing with Aging is: Gobble up knowledge. There’s always something new to learn. This is one of my favorite topics. I’d love to learn about how you continue to gobble up new stuff in your own style.
A few of my own strategies may be worth mentioning. They are so simple and really work.
The first is, I try to hang out with bright people and practice my “shut up and listen” skills.
My second tip is to put an interesting book next to each of my favorite chairs. I have five special chairs. The books drive Sherry nuts.
You can tell that when I speak of gobbling up knowledge, it’s not in an Einstein sort of way. I just stay within my natural skill set.
