For those of us in our senior years, isn’t it wonderful to reflect on at least one thing that has not changed over our many years?
Don, at seven years of age: “I’m hungry.”
Mother Irene: ”Fix yourself a peanut butter sandwich.”
Son Jeff, at seven years of age: “I’m hungry.”
Father Don: “Fix yourself a peanut butter sandwich.”
Don, at 77 years of age: “I’m hungry.”
Wife Sherry: “Fix yourself a peanut butter sandwich.”
It may be a nutty idea, but I think Skippy may stick around, bringing joyous snack solutions to future generations.
Message to today’s youth: Please note every example begins with “Fix yourself…”
