I think of my brain as a bucket. Throughout my life, I stored new knowledge in it to become a wiser man.
At 75, I recognized my bucket was beginning to leak at the bottom. Things I had learned over the years were beginning to drip out.
This began to worry me. I came up with a solution.
Before I lost too much of my wisdom, I found I needed to continue to fill it up from the top.
That’s why, at 78, I spend so much time with people brighter than me. I don’t watch too much TV or dink around in social media. I read books written by brilliant authors.
I also find praying a bit has helped slow down the dripping at the bottom of my bucket.
Do you have an aging brain bucket, or is it just me?
