The childhood memories of being brought up in the countryside I shall treasure forever. Mazing through the cornfields on my way home from school, witnessing in wonder as snow geese covered our property one fall afternoon, and smelling the harvested alfalfa fields while listening to the cows in the pasture mooing. To be able to farm a garden and reap its benefits were gifts from mother earth, as well as bicycle riding down empty county road H.
