Tuesday was my 77th birthday. I can’t believe I’ve made it this far. I’m still aging – perhaps not gracefully, but still waking up in the morning ready to embrace another beautiful day.
One way I chose to spend my birthday was to make a list of all those people who have helped me along the way.
I am astonished at the size of my list, and I’m still adding to it.
This is the first time I’ve attempted to create such a list, and it’s been a fantastic exercise for me. I’d recommend it for anyone, particularly those who are bowing and taking in all the kudos for their life successes.
There are two large groups that belong on my list. One group includes all of you who have supported my blog and book. Your feedback has encouraged me to continue to write.
The second group includes the dogs and cats who have brightened my days. With over 77 million dogs and 59 million cats in the United States, I’ll bet many of you also receive love from four-legged friends to get you through the tough days as you continue to age.
So to all of you: Thanks for the lift.
