Life is a tough grind for an older guy.
There’s lots to not think about. Jobs not to start. I earn no coffee breaks.
I have a bunch of answers, but no one’s asking the questions. I still take my briefcase out to my car. It just sits there all day like a lonely, brown puppy.
For self-discipline, I came up with the concept of writing down in my daily calendar “The One Big Thing” I’ll get done.
I thought this simple action would give my day purposeful focus and true meaning.
I’m on my fifth day of “The One Big Thing” strategy.
I’ve made a slight edit in my daily calendar.
I now write, “The One Big Thing for Tomorrow.”
