It’s challenging for me to figure out when it’s time to kick back or press forward.
I’ll bet many of you are asking yourselves the same question.
On some sunny days, I think I should spend the rest of my life frolicking with my dogs, going on leisurely hikes in the mountains, reclining in my backyard and making my way through the stack of books I bought years ago.
That sentiment lasts for a day or two, then I get drawn into some work or volunteer-related activity that adds a bit of stress and pressure. Off I go, thinking I have important things to accomplish and the clock is ticking.
If you are at or past retirement age, I’m curious if you face the same scenario?
If your answer is about having some perfect balance in your life, please do not share it with me.
I’ve already flunked the “perfect balance test” too many times.
